Halloween is coming!

At my age, I don't have to worry about what to wear for Halloween. I don't go anywhere. But I like to dress up, so I look for excuses to look ridiculous. The last two years I went to my daughter's house to pass out candy to the trick-or-treaters in her neighborhood. I was a witch.
Why is it that when we are young, we want to be something glamorous (a Princess, a French maid, etc.), but as we age, we don't care. (That's a rhetorical question - don't e-mail me with the obvious answer - I don't want to hear it ). I think I'll be Snow White this year.
