When deciding on my favorite quotes for the year I decided to choose “Deep Thoughts.” (below) Yes, this says a lot about me - I do have a strange sense of humor. Last year I talked about how tacky I am (see Tacky Party) and I thought I’d share some more of that tackiness with you. So, In keeping with that theme, I decided to intersperse some tacky humor amid my brilliant take on life this year. Enjoy!

My Family background:
My husband is 100% Swedish. I'm a mutt: My father's side were all from England (but came to America in 1620 - so his side is REALLY American -). My mother's side has Yugoslavian, Macedonian, Bulgarian, Hungarian, Romanian, and German ancestry and she was the first one born in America - both her parents were immigrants who came through Ellis Island in 1911 and 1914.

Mom, if you did die at the computer (totally plausible given the amount of time you spend there!) at least your blogs about "die hard poker players" would go on! You are the only person I know who has pre-posted blogs a year in advance so as to not disappoint your "fans" if some tragedy befalls you and your blogging must cease!
